Kahtoola applies 20 years of design experience into the EXOspikes, incorporating the durability of NANOspikes with the secure fit and superior traction of MICROspikes. In the past, you couldn’t wear spikes on pavement. Not so with the EXOspikes. They take on a mixed bag of winter precipitation while delivering true cross-terrain functionality. A total of 12 spikes per foot deliver three levels of traction enhancement. Wear-resistant tungsten-carbide spikes deliver the initial bite on ice and packed snow. Durable TPU lugs dig into uneven surfaces and loose terrain. The last level, an open TPU matrix, keeps tread on your footwear engaged. An upgraded TPE elastomer harness geometry allows for easy on and off with a secure fit on a wide range of footwear choices.
